Elegant wines from South Africa
My latest wine column for Umeå Tidning is out! If you want to read (in Swedish) about Elgin, one of South Africas most exiting areas right now, you can do it here. I write about the wines from Elgin and the cold climate, and recommend two of my favourite wines from the region.
Swedens best female sommelier 2017
Yesterday I competed in (and won!!) the Swedish competition Lily Bollinger Award, a competition that points out Swedens best female sommelier. It was a nervous and exiting day with a lot of different parts of the competition, to mention a few it was a blindtasting of beer and a sampling of cheese to recommend beverage to. If you want to read more there has been a few articles about it (in Swedish), for example in Dagens Industri and Besöksliv.

Nordic Ruinart Challenge 2017
This week I competed in the Nordic Ruinart Challenge 2017, this year in Helsinki, Finland. The competition was very fun and consisted of a blind tasting of four rosé wines – what a challenge. Two Swedish articles are posted about it if you want to read more, one on Besöksliv and another one in UmeåGuiden.
